HOW LONG DOES THE SESSION LAST?

Maternity sessions are 1 hour in length. 

WHERE WILL THE MATERNITY SESSION TAKE PLACE?

Maternity sessions can take place in my studio located in Lake in the Hills, IL year round or outside at one of the local parks from mid-May to mid-October if you have other children you that you would like to be part of the session. If you do not have other children, we can schedule your outdoor session through the end of October. I find that children don't do well in colder temperatures and the goal is for me to provide the best photos I can for your session. 

OUTDOOR SESSION TIPS

Bugs: Summer bugs can be horrible. I always have bug spray you can borrow, but I know some families have their preferences on sprays. If that's you, please remember to bring bug spray for yourself and family.
Weather: If there is dangerous weather, I will contact you no later than 8am that morning, and reschedule for an upcoming date. We do not reschedule unless there is bad rain (i.e. drizzle doesn't deter us) or other dangerous weather such as lightning, etc.

DO YOU TAKE PICTURES OF THE FAMILY DURING MATERNITY SESSIONS?

I do love including family in photos – the love and connection you and your family feels towards your baby tells an amazing story, and you’ll want to remember it.

DO YOU HAVE MATERNITY GOWNS/BODY SUITS/ETC.?

Yes, I do have a studio collection of several maternity gowns, bodysuits and tops you can use with a cute pair of jeans from home. You are more than welcome to borrow from my collection for your session at no extra cost. You can also wear your own outfit(s) if you'd prefer as well. I do not photograph nude photos and see through dresses need to have underwear and bra underneath. I also recommend wearing either skin colored bra and underwear or a color that matches the dress/bodysuit that you are wearing. We will have time to use 2-3 outfits.
